Dining:

Guests at Cala de Mar have the choice of dining in a variety of very distinct environments. Cala de Mar Ixtapa’s fine dining room, A Mares, opens nightly for dinner and is the only air conditioned restaurant in the region. Located in the heart of the resort, the restaurant features the best pasta and staek house cuisine.

The casual Las Rocas serves breakfast, lunch and international and Mexican specialties throughout the day. The Seafood Market, a dramatic, alfresco cliffside grill suspended over the shoreline is sure to be a favorite dinner spot among Cala de Mar Ixtapa’s guests. This rustic seafood restaurant creates a true sense of place and cultural ambiance with local artisan pottery, floor candles and a fire pit.

Tapas and botanas are served at the resort’s Terrace Bar, tiered in three levels and offering breathtaking sunset views over the Pacific Ocean. The Terrace Bar offers a variety of small plates, a Pacific Kitchen featuring the culinary art of ceviche, sushi and sashimi, a full service bar and one of the largest selections of single barrel and Anejo tequilas.

The Spa at Cala de Mar is the region’s only spa, wellness and fitness facility, featuring 6,000-square-feet of interior space overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
