Casa Fuster

Built in 1908 as a gift from Señor Fuster to his wife, the elegant Modernist building now known as Hotel Casa Fuster is an emblem of the romance and opulence of its time. Located at the top of Passeig de Gràcia one of Barcelona's most upscale shopping streets the elaborate design by renowned architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner makes it stand out as one of the city's most alluring hotels. Inside, each of Casa Fuster's guest rooms and suites is decorated with cherry wood furnishings and a contemporary, highclass finesse and leads to lavish, mirrored bathrooms; all the while highlighted by streams of natural light. Some extremely luxurious suites have their very own sauna. It prides itself on being a rich cultural attraction and nowhere is this more true than at the Cafè Vienès Restaurant & Bar. Once a destination of choice for renowned intellectuals (such as the poet Salvador Espriu) and famous faces, it now transforms into an exclusive Jazz Club once a week and offers two menus for dinner: a creative tapas/platillos and à la carte option. For a world-class dining experience head to the intimate, elegant and bright Aleia Restaurant, recipient of a Michelin Star, led by Chef Paulo Airaudo whose tasting menu is a daring gastronomic proposal full of flavour, technique and personality. Summer breezes and unique views await up on Terrace where Passeig de Gràcia's finest panoramas take in sea views and Tibidabo mountain which includeds a bar and a splash pool.
