Each of the spacious and light-filled rooms and suites at Castel Monastero are located either around the piazza of the medieval monastery or in its hamlet and each has its own identity. Everyone a private retreat of refined and discreet luxury, our newly renovated suites are spacious, warm, light- filled, and large living spaces combining nature, comfort, and style.

Much like the land that surrounds us, our 1500 square meters SPA MONASTERII is restorative and replenishing, a journey unto itself, rooted in the ancient wisdom of monastic herbal remedies and the healing properties of the earth. It’s a nourishing, calming experience merging ancient knowledge and techniques and modern therapies that draw upon the botanicals and other natural ingredients inspired by, and derived from, our land.

Next to 8 modern treatment rooms, the spa’s water world includes two indoor pools, one of which pairs high temperature with a high saline concentration for an extraordinary detox effect, Finnish sauna, Bio Sauna, Kneipp cure, Hammam, Pool with hydromassage, and multi-sensory showers.

Activities Castel Monastero offers its guests a wide range of open-air activities such as its own tennis court, located immediately outside the village or the swimming pools in front of the Spa. From guided tours, wine tasting, forest trekking, truffle hunts, and hot air balloon rides to yoga sessions, and cooking classes our team is here to tailor unique experiences specifically for your desires and needs.

Weddings Castel Monastero is a as romantic place as you could hope to find, and the ideal place to host your wedding or any other special celebration. The perfect venue for lovers of history, nature, fine dining, and unforgettable views, the hamlet can host up to 140 guests in-house and offers a multitude of beautiful locations, including our iconic square and the castle’s little church, which can also be used for a more intimate blessing of up to 40 people.
