Its first creative village, Desa Potato Head Bali, was designed by OMA and Andra Matin, bringing together contemporary architecture, local craftsmanship and circular design principles.
For Virtuoso guests, the experience unfolds across 88 suites, set within a village of social and cultural spaces, including a library, bars and restaurants, sculpture gardens, outdoor amphitheatres, a beach club, a state-of-the-art music venue, and a wellbeing centre rooted in both innovation and tradition.
Guests staying in the Suites can choose between two distinct yet connected experiences. In the Andra Matin–designed building, suites feel warm and homelike, crafted by Balinese artisans using local materials and traditional techniques. In the OMA-designed building, the experience is sleek and contemporary, with interiors built from reclaimed and repurposed materials, giving new life to what already exists.
Different expressions, the same care, all part of one village recognised in The World’s 50 Best Hotels in 2023, 2024 and 2025, and recipient of the World’s 50 Best Hotels Eco Award in the last Awards Ceremony.
Dining goes from casual to refined, with a strong focus on local sourcing, whole ingredients and circular practices. Wellness is woven throughout the stay, from culturally rooted treatments to daily rituals that invite guests to slow down and reconnect.
Desa Potato Head Bali is B Corp certified and has achieved just 0.5% waste to landfill, reinforcing the brand’s belief that Good Times Do Good is not an idea, but a lived reality.
