The Hotel Nassauer Hof is temporarily closed for a comprehensive transformation and will reopen in 2028.
A gem full of character, passion and esteem. A grand hotel with more than 200 years of history. Wiesbaden's first port of call. The luxurious Hotel Nassauer Hof is many things – and one thing above all: a place where guests are happy, radiant and completely satisfied. A refuge where the staff use their passion to maintain and uphold a fantastic tradition of hospitality and help it grow day after day.
The Hotel Nassauer Hof is a living legend in Wiesbaden and an answer to your search and desire for a luxurious, urban retreat in the heart of the fascinatingly beautiful capital city of Germany's state of Hesse.
Today, this iconic grand hotel embarks on its most exciting chapter yet. In order to preserve the historic soul of this iconic property while introducing contemporary design, enhanced comfort, and a reimagined guest experience, the hotel closed its doors on 1 January 2026 for a comprehensive renovation. The number of rooms and suites will be thoughtfully reduced to allow for larger, more refined spaces, while the spa will grow. Event spaces will receive a full technical upgrade, and the hotel will be repositioned with a strong focus on sustainability.
Even during the renovation, culinary excellence continues: the Ente gourmet restaurant has moved to Eberbach Abbey (Kloster Eberbach), where Chef Michael Kammermeier and his team continue to offer outstanding cuisine and the unmistakable service our guests love.
Illustrious guests, amusing anecdotes – the Nassauer Hof has always been the backdrop to history-making encounters and moving moments. From the meeting between Emperor Wilhelm II and Tsar Nicholas II in 1903 to visits from Karl Lagerfeld, Audrey Hepburn and Otto Waalkes and even regular stays by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
We look forward to welcoming you back upon our anticipated reopening in 2028, when the Hotel Nassauer Hof will once again open its doors as one of Germany's leading luxury hotels – where tradition meets modern elegance.
