Inverlochy is Scotland's finest luxury hotel and restaurant uniquely located amongst the glens, lochs and mountains of the West Highlands of Scotland. Each of the 18 Castle bedrooms, have their own individual design and character, along with splendid views of the grounds and surrounding mountains. Room facilities include mirror televisions, WiFi, personal safe, Nespresso machines, Bang and Olufsen speaker. In addition we have 8 Walled Garden rooms, overlooking our peaceful walled gardens, these eight rooms in the converted stable block offer all the character and charm of our castle rooms, plus a balcony or terrace. Our Gate Lodge located next to the road at our entrance has a double room, single room and lounge, great for a small family.
From the exquisite ritual of afternoon tea to the pre-dinner ritual of champagne and canapés before dining in either Seasgair or joining the culinary camaraderie at the Mary Shaw Table, this is beautifully exclusive food, served with a side of enchantment the seasonal sensations at Inverlochy, is always sublime. Each of our three rooms have been decorated with period and elaborate furniture presented as gifts to Inverlochy Castle from the King of Norway. We have been awarded AA 3 red Rosettes.
There are various activities and attractions both at the hotel and close by. The hotel itself offers clay pigeon shooting, archery, Falconry displays (note we use external companies and must be booked pre arrival). Nearby there is Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK, cruises on Loch Ness, hiking, mountain biking, pony trekking and skiing, with two ski centres to choose from. The small town of Fort William is only three miles away with a busy high street for gifts.
