Manoir Hovey is a historic lakeside 5-Star Relais & Chateaux estate on the shores of Lake Massawippi just outside of North Hatley, one of Quebec's most picturesque villages, located only 75 minutes away from Montreal. Manoir Hovey has 52 rooms and suites spread amongst two main buildings and six exterior pavilions. All of our accommodations are individually decorated and offer a rare combination of lake-side charm and modern luxury. Most of our rooms offer panoramic views of Lake Massawippi, a ten mile pristine lake, and our English gardens.

Dining Le Hatley Restaurant - Manoir Hovey’s gastronomic restaurant Le Hatley is renowned for its warm, personalized service and its innovative Quebec cuisine, which uses the finest local and regional products. Recipient of the Wine Spectator ‘’Best Award of Excellence’’ our wine list elegantly compliments our fine dinning experience. Overlooking Lake and gardens our signature dining room offers a tranquil setting, breathtaking views and a unique gastronomic experience.

Tap Room Bistro - Offers a more casual dinning experience based on quality local products. As per the Virtuoso amenities guests will receive a complimentary three-course lunch for two including a wine pairing with the main course. Guests can enjoy this amenity on the Tap Room’s terrace which offers one of the most beautiful view in the Eastern Townships.

Meetings & Weddings

For business meetings, banquets and receptions Manoir Hovey is the perfect place. Our main conference room, the Abenaki Hall, offers a state-of-the-art audio visual equipment. The space if framed by magnificent views of the lake and gardens. The Atkinson Room welcomes smaller groups in a professional and stylish environment.

Manoir Hovey is a peerless destination for weddings which can host up to 120 people. This heritage filled, romantic lakeside property, offers five star Relais & Chateaux service and award winning cuisine making for a unique venue and a timeless memory.

Activities In summer months, Manoir Hovey offers numerous on-site, complimentary, activities such as: tennis, cardio stretching, yoga, mixology, fly fishing, bee keeping, forest bathing, outdoor pool and bicycles.

In winter, Manoir Hovey offers numerous on-site, complimentary, activities such as: Ice-fishing, snowshoeing and Ice skating. Our knowledgeable staff can also guide you toward our many local cross-country ski trails and downhill ski mountains in proximity of the hotel.
