Location Getting to Morgan’s Rock Hacienda and Ecolodge in Nicaragua is fairly easy; the available infrastructure is much better than you would expect. The lodge is strategically located to the south of Nicaragua’s most important tourism destination Granada and just north of the Costa Rican border. You have your choice of international flights into Nicaragua’s capital Managua or Liberia located in Northern Costa Rica. It would be our pleasure to arrange safe and comfortable private transportation to Morgan’s Rock from either destination. If you prefer to arrive by air from either Managua or Liberia, we do have own private landing strip that allows you to reach the lodge in a short 35 minute flight from both destinations.
Accommodations Few lodges can offer harmony with nature the way Morgan’s Rock does. Residing in one of our fifteen sustainably constructed Ocean View or Forest View bungalows (2 Forest View Bungalows with Private Pool and 10 Ocean View Bungalows and 3 Ocean View Bungalows with Plunge Pool with view of the Reserve´s private beach), our guests will find it impossible not to relax.
Experiences The abundant wildlife here at Morgan’s Rock draws visitors to return again and again. Our unique setting offers guests the opportunity to feel immersed in the nature around them. Both children and adults are delighted to discover exotic animals such as monkeys, sea turtles, colorful birds, anteaters, sloths, iguanas, dolphins, and more. Our accommodations are just a small portion of the property, the rest being mostly untouched Reserve and estuary. Guests are encouraged to explore the property via kayak, vehicle, bicycle, horse, and on foot, almost always encountering some exotic species along the way. Excursions with an experienced guide and naturalist are all the more enriching, drawing on the guide’s vast knowledge of the area and its inhabitants.
