Shangri-La Group's first property in Turkey, Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul is built in 12 stories, six of which are underground to protect the historic façade. The building is the second-tallest on the coast after the Dolmabahce Palace, and opened May 11, 2013.

This 186-room luxury hotel is located between the Dolmabahce Palace and the Maritime Museum on the European shore of the Bosphorus Strait – the 30-kilometre stretch of water separating Europe and Asia. Set within the Besiktas district, the shopping and transport hub of Istanbul, the hotel is close to the city's financial district and the Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The hotel consists of 169 well-appointed guest rooms with a minimum size of 42 sqm/453 sqft, featuring spacious bathrooms, averaging 10 sqm/108 sqft. In addition, there are 17 suites offering approximately 80 sqm/861 sqft to 366 sqm/3,940 sqft of living and entertaining space, most located to offer the best views of the Bosphorus sea.

Dining Dining at Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul, is a feast for the senses, presenting tantalising gastronomic treats at its host of ambience-filled restaurant. An all-day dining restaurant IST TOO offers a uniquely satisfying combination of Asian and Western cuisines. For exceptional Cantonese cuisine, gastronomes will be heading to the hotel’s Chinese restaurant Shang Palace, with private dining room option, a spacious main dining area and intimate booths, offering diners authentic Chinese fare.

The heart of the hotel is the Lobby Lounge, featuring 101 varieties of tea selections. Le Bar also offers delectable cocktails and sophisticated refreshments accompanied by tasteful snacks.
