The guest rooms and suites are generous in proportion and now luxuriously appointed with new furnishings, custom Frette linens, luxurious bath amenities, and 42 inch flat screen TVs. The resort's Spa Suites merges philosophies and techniques from around the world, embracing Hawaiian culture and traditional therapies. Hoku's, the award winning signature restaurant, offers O‘ahu's most innovative dining in an oceanfront setting that is as relaxed as the islands and as elegant as the cuisine. Hoku's (meaning "star" in Hawaiian) serves dinner and Sunday brunch prepared in an open kitchen.

The Kahala's Plumeria Beach House is located beach-level for spectacular viewing of sand and surf. Plumeria Beach House is renowned for its breakfast buffet, a la carte lunches and weekend nightly buffets. The Seaside Grill features a selection of casual dishes for lunch. The Veranda has views of the Dolphin Lagoon and serves afternoon tea, followed by cocktails and snacks in the evening.
