Dishes are served in a completely renovated dining room, featuring high ceilings, hand-blown glass chandeliers and a working fireplace."He bases his menu items on traditional New England food but he tends to do things that are a touch different by incorporating ingredients that wouldn';t usually be there," says Kimberly Barrett, a spokeswoman for Wequassett.A petit clambake with an emulsified butter poached lobster, bliss potatoes and asparagus is one example of this cuisine, created by executive chef James Hackney.
