The Hotel is located in the middle of the Augustiner Quarter named after an Augustinian monastery that was built in the 13th century but no longer exists.The historic townhouses which accommodate the Widder Hotel are national monuments. They were carefully restored between 1990 and 1995.

The Widder Hotel comprises 35 guest rooms and 14 suites, some with their own roof terrace. All rooms are located in nine carefully restored historic buildings.

The different restaurants are unique at the hotel itself - from the modern fine dining Widder Restaurant to the classic and rustic-chic Restaurant Boucherie AuGust. Acclaimend Star Chef Stefan Heilemann and Exectuive Chef Tino Staub and their teams are fully dedicated to serve you and unforgettable lunch or dinner at any time of the day.

As of May 2020 the heart of Zurich offers four new fully furnished apartments with an unparalleled charm! Medieval foundations, original beams, stucco ceilings and state of the art interior design make these precious apartments a home for the discerning. You get to reside in the historical birthplace of Zurich, overlooking Rennweg and the famous Lindenhof. The carefully restored apartments will offer both, an authentic feeling of the medieval charm with classic design furniture and the most luxurious fittings for your comfort.
