Lucknam Park is a country house hotel located just six miles outside of historic City of Bath and under two hours drive from central London. It is approached by a mile long avenue of Beech and Lime trees through 500 acres of parkland. The house itself was built in 1720 and has 42 bedrooms, including 13 suites and in addition 9 self-contained cottages, all located in the grounds of the hotel. Restaurant Hywel Jones, is overseen by Michelin starred Executive Chef Hywel Jones, and is open daily for breakfast for guests staying at the property. Dinner is served from Wednesday to Saturday in Restaurant Hywel Jones, offering both a tasting and al a' carte option. The Walled Garden restaurant offers fine yet informal dining and is open daily from 11.00 to 22:00.
At the Equestrian Centre complete beginners, both adults and children are catered for as well as more proficient riders wishing to increase their skill in riding. There is also a number of ponies perfect for our younger guests. We offer pony rides for children from the age of 3 however, they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Within the walled garden is the award-winning Spa, with indoor swimming pool, indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room, gymnasium, 8 treatment rooms including a nail bar.
On the estate you will also find two floodlit outdoor tennis courts, 5-a-side football pitch, children's playground, activity pod and The Hideaway which is all about parents enjoying quality time with their children, catering for all ages with a variety of activities, bicycles, croquet lawn and more - all available for guests use.
