Complete with old-world corridors, classic bricolage, and historic suites that housed notable denizens like Leonard Cohen and Patti Smith, the Chelsea's grandiose interior harkens back to its uniquely rich past while reflecting the storied elegance of its red brick and wrought iron facade. The century-old El Quijote restaurant has reopened, alongside new venues such Cafe Chelsea, our bustling all-day French-American bistro, and our grand European-style Lobby Bar-further typifying the hotel's flair for indulgence.
With 160 rooms & suites, a rooftop spa and gym, and 4500 square feet of event spaces, the Hotel Chelsea is ready to welcome old and new acquaintances alike. But as it opens its doors with a renewed spirit, one thing is certain: It will introduce you to a corner of New York that does not exist anywhere else.
