Each room plays its own role in the artistic beauty that sets the hotel apart. The heraldic colour palette gradually draws out the palace’s unique identity and family history. Bilbao blue, vert green and gules red run through the rooms, highlighting the exclusive pieces made for the Palacio Arriluce Hotel by great international artists.
The multiple artworks range from a tribute to Basque sculpture by Alberdi and ground-breaking Modernist prints by Sonia Delaunay, an artist with a close connection to the family history of the palace, to abstract lithographs by another great name associated with the hotel, Frantisek Kupka, and pieces inspired by the palace in the “Arriluce Abraza” collection by Diego Canogar.
